Some tips for your holiday at Camping San Marino Resort in Lopar
- First visit the heavenly sandy beaches of Rab. Like the child-friendly Paradise beach right by your campsite. The sea stays shallow for a long way out and it has lots of other things to ensure a wonderful day at the beach: such as, playgrounds, restaurants, sun beds, shops and even a fun assault course. Also recommended for your kids are the sandy beach of Kampor Mel (20 km to the southwest) and the very fine pebble beach of Pudarica near Barbat (20 km to the south).
- After just a 20 minute drive you'll be in the historic capital of the island; the city of Rab. Stroll through the medieval winding streets. Admire the old churches. Climb the cathedral tower for the best view of the city's red roofs. And relax with a "Rab cake" (cake of almond flour) in the Boskopini city park with its playground.
- That green surroundings are just begging to be explored. Rent a bicycle at the campsite and have a pleasant day out. Or go for a walk in Park Komrčar near the capital Rab.
- Book an excursion to the islands of Goli Otok and Sveti Grgur at your campsite. Pay close attention along the way ... you can often spot dolphins swimming in this sea! Deer can be spotted and fed on Sveti Grgur.
- Race across the water on water skis or zip through the air while parasailing. The older kids and teens love it! Stand-up paddling (paddle boarding) and kayaking are also possible on the island of Rab, at Lopar, the town close to your campsite.
