Camping Domaine de Kermario is located close to the Breton coast, in the heart of the megalithic stone sites of Carnac. This small-scale family campsite is surrounded by greenery and the perfect base for discovering Brittany. And there’s also plenty of entertainment at the campsite. After tasty sambos from the sandwich service, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. The kids, meanwhile, will have a great time in the children's and teens club, playing a game of jeu de boules or table tennis.

    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Domaine de Kermario in Carnac

    • Idyllic Vannes is 30 minutes away. You feel like you're in a fairy tale. Discover the alleys paved with old-fashioned cobblestones and stroll past the colourful half-timbered houses. The gardens at the foot of the old fortress walls are one of the biggest highlights of the port city. Be sure to settle down on the terraces and sip a Breton beer.
    • Forêt Adrénaline adventure park can be reached after a 10-kilometre drive. There are 19 different courses, which are suitable for different ages and levels. Some courses are even suitable for adventurers from 2 years old.
    • The Megaliths can be viewed at various places in Carnac. The first rows of menhirs, and the most famous, are located 400 metres from the campsite. You will learn all about their placement, 5000 to 3000 years BC, in the museum of prehistory.
    • Beach worshippers, take note! After a 3 kilometre drive, you’ll reach the Breton coast. Park your car in Carnac Plage (or use the free shuttle service in high season) and relax on the beach. You can find adrenaline by kitesurfing, wakeboarding, or water skiing. 
    • After half an hour's drive you reach the port on the peninsula of Quiberon. Next stop? The 45-minute boat trip to Belle‑Ile‑en‑Mer. That this island is very “belle” is undeniable. With 58 beaches, this is a must-visit for beach worshippers. From turquoise water to rugged cliffs, you’ll encounter it all on the 20-kilometre-long island.
