Description of the campsite

The camp site is situated and relaxing South Brittany coast, 13 km from Concarneau, largest fishing port in France and 7 km from Gauguin Pont Aven. There is a direct access by private footpath(300meters) to a gently sloping, safe, sandy beach with rock pools at one end and an island to explore at low tide. the sea is beautifully clear, and offers a flat sandy beach(safe for the children), swimming, snorkelling and a variety of water sports(fishing, wind surfing, body boards etc...)

Névez is a littoral resort of South Finistere which knew to preserve its wild landscapes and its typical heritage. Idyllic place for enjoy the fresh air, it is nature in pure condition, the sea under every figures.
Lands of lights and contrasts where the strenght of the sea blend with the Aven sweetness. Landscapes between land and sea, green and blue paintings have kept the print of painters and stones tailors prints.
This village offers the best beach in the Névez area. It will not be a surprise if it is revealed that the natives have nicknamed the East end of the beach 'Tahiti'! Fine sand for several kilometers and turquoise coured sea. Facing the little port of Raguenez is the island of the same name, where a factory once processed seaweed into iodine. Today, it is private property, but a right-of-way permits the circling of the island. Be careful for access to the island is limited to 3 hours before or after low tide.
