Camping Le Ranolien is a large, spacious campsite in Perros-Guirec, northern Brittany. Charmingly situated around gorgeous traditional Breton houses. This welcoming family campsite has everything you need for a memorable camping holiday. Lovely swimming pool, luxury wellness and plenty of fun for the kids.     Some tips for your holiday at Camping Le Ranolien in Perros-Guirec

    • Looking for a quiet day at the beach not too far away? Drive to the great little beach Plage de Trestrignel (5km) . It is picture perfect and has picnic places, toilets, parking and gorgeous white sands.
    • Mix a lot of fun with a little education and thrill the kids with a visit to the impressive Planetarium de Bretagne in Pleumeur Bodou (10km). Discover everything about the planets, satellites, stars and galaxies with enchanting images on a 360 ° dome.
    • Whisky lovers head for Lannion (11km) to visit the famous Distillerie Warenghem. See how the Bretons create their own brand of delicious beverage and don’t forget to buy a bottle to take back to the campsite.
    • Drive down to Paimpol and delve into the history of the French fishing culture. Walk around this pretty coastal town, down the old Latin quarter to admire the old half-timbered houses from the 15th and 16th century and stop for a long, lazy lunch at the marina. It’s seafood heaven and the main star is the local oyster, the famous Paimpolaise!
    • For a little history and culture go to Guingamp (43km). Architect fans have a field day with the 14th century Basilique Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours and the old prison built in 1836. Wander around the the old town square and then head for the ancient 14th century castle of the former Duke of Brittany, Chateau de Pierre II. It’s a fabulous walk through history!
    • Combine a little history, lots of shopping and some fantastic food in the beautiful port town of Morlaix (47km). Once home to a thriving linen industry, now a place full of gorgeous little boutiques, excellent restaurants and some unique sights, such as the towering 58m high viaduct from 1861 and the wonderful Maison de la Duchesse Anne.
    • A little further away , but worth the visit is the famous naval city of Brest (103km). Mesmerize the kids at the spectacular Océanopolis with its vast aquariums housing sting rays, giant turtles and sharks. Then take them to the remarkable naval museum to see a seehund midget submarine and other fascinating relics from the second world war. End the day with a fun cable car ride high above the city!
