Camping Port de la Chaine is a pleasant, small scale 4 star family campsite located just 50 metres from the sea. Families with young children love the peaceful setting and enthusiastic kids club team. This unpretentious campsite is also a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful Armor coastline.

The popular seaside resort of Pleubian is situated on the beautiful Armor Coast in Brittany. It’s handily located between the small tourist towns of Paimpol and Tréguier and is a good base to explore the fascinating 'Côte de Granit Rose' with its famous towns such as Perros-Guirec.

Some tips for your holiday at Le Port de la Chaine in Pleubian

  • Fancy a really remarkable day at the beach? Then head for the popular seaside resort of Perros-Guirec , known for its pink granite rocks sculpted by the sea. There are three great family beaches there.
  • Water sports enthusiasts go to Pleubian to enjoy sea kayaking, stand-up paddle, windsurfing or sailing
  • For a great day out take the 10 minute boat trip from from Pointe de l’Arcouest , near Paimpol to one of Brittany’s loveliest islands, Ile de Bréhat. Stroll around this car-free island past the pretty stone cottages to the old Citadel fort. Here you’ll find the Verreries de Bréhat Glass Studios, where you can get that perfect gift to take back home.
  • Nature lovers walk the Sillon de Talbert, a long, thin trail of pebbles stretching 3 km into the Channel from a striking headland known as the wild peninsula. This incredible natural phenomenon can be found near Paimpol.
  • Combine a day of shopping with a little culture and visit the lively town of Lannion (30 km). Stroll through the city centre with its quaint shops and boutiques, then wander the old town to admire the 17th century church of Brelevenez at the top of Crec'h Tanet hill.
  • End your day with a visit to the small historic town of Pontrieux. Take an evening boat trip up the river and see the famous flower filled banks. Then stop at one of its marvellous restaurants for some excellent seafood!.
