    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Belle Plage in Ploemeur

    • Lorient is 8 kilometres from the campsite. Next stop? The boat to the island of Groix. And even though the island is small, with a length of just 8 kilometres, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the different landscapes. The beaches, bays and forests on the east side are in stark contrast to the rugged cliffs on the west side.
    • Or just spend a day in Lorient. Stroll along the harbour or learn all about sailing at the Cité de la Voile Eric Tabarly museum. Sail with radio-controlled sailing boats and learn how to hoist sails.
    • The campsite is close to the famous GR34 hiking trail. During a walk on the Douanierspad, you come face to face with beautiful viewpoints of the sea. The mysterious rock formations are the perfect backdrop for the best holiday photos.
    • After a 40 minute drive you arrive in Pont-Aven. The Xavier-Grall hiking trail is one of the biggest highlights. Via idyllic wooden footbridges you stroll from one bank to the other, lined with colourful flowers.
    • 66 kilometres away, you’ll reach Vannes. Here, it’s bustling with life. Stroll along the romantic gardens that are located at the foot of the old fortress walls. Sip a Breton beer on the terrace. And behold the colourful half-timbered houses and the old-fashioned cobbled streets.
