Some tips for your holiday at Camping Domaine de Kerlann in Pont-Aven

    • Go off and explore Pont-Aven! This gorgeous village set in a green valley is picture perfect. Filled with old windmills, villas and ancient little bridges. The famous painter Gauguin loved it here. Don’t forget to taste the most important piece of culture here. The butter biscuits!
    • Fancy a day out with the kids? Take them to the large aquarium Oceanopolis. Watch the seals get fed and descend down between the sharks in the panoramic lift….if you dare!!
    • Feel like water sports? Head for the sea by Plage Port-Manec’h and go canoeing, paddling and kayaking. Or go on an adventure high between the tree tops at the Bonobo climbing park in Quimper. After all that action everyone deserves a delicious galette!
    • The zoo at Pont Scorff is a lot of fun too. Drive just 30 minutes from the campsite and you’ll be admiring elephants, lions and penguins.
    • For a little history and culture visit the town of Quimper. The medieval laborer’s houses, the cathedral of St. Corentin, the quays of l’Odet. You won’t believe your eyes. Still hungry for culture? Then head for Concarneau with its old town centre ‘Ville Close’ or the walled town of Vannes near the Gulf of Morbihan.
    • When in Brittany it’s a must to explore the stunning nature areas. Take a boat to the Glénan-archipelago with its 7 islands. White beaches, crystal clear seas, the 40cm high narcissuses of Glénan. It’s a true tropical paradise in France!
    • Tip: the viewing point of Pointe du Raz. You can see the lighthouse of Vieille from here,. described as‘trés spectaculaire’ by the French. You’ll find the 70 metre high cliff right by the cosy Pont-Croix. It’s the perfect way to combine two popular sights.
