- Dig into any sandy beach of your choice. It is only a short drive to the Atlantic coast by car.
- Discover the old seaside resort of Royan, a cozy town by the sea with a boulevard and many shops. Visit Église Notre-Dame de Royan and take the kids to dino park Planet Exotica. Teenagers are excited for the climbing course in Coolongalook Parc Adventure or the go-kart track in Royan.
- Cycling is the best way to get around here. Make your wheels go round and round to the special island of Ile d'Oleron. Check out Fort Louvois, la citadelle du Château d'Oléron and Fort Boyard and complete your island tour with some relaxation on one of the sandy beaches here.
