Camping Les Charmettes

The kids will go crazy when they see this water park! Waterslides, several pools, fountains and fun water toys. Campsite Les Charmettes is a buzzing family campsite in a good location and just 4km from the beach. Plus there's plenty of things to do here in the Charente-Maritime.

  • If you like a lively ambiance you will feel completely at home here. The entertainment team organises activities for all ages. There is even a large indoor theatre with seating for up to 900 people. The evening shows are very popular.
  • The water park consists of two beautiful outdoor swimming pools with a seperate section for waterslides and an indoor pool. Comfortable sunbeds are everywhere.
  • If you want to be more active, Les Charmettes offers a wide range of sports activities: tennis court, gym, multi-sports area, mini golf, bowling alley and archery.
  • There's a good restaurant. Will it be pizza or some tasty French crepes?
  • The mobile homes are arranged in circles around small squares. There are many shrubs and greenery, all really well-kept.
  • The Atlantic ocean beckons and is just 4km away. Hire a bike at the campsite, gather up your beach gear and hop, skip and jump into the dunes at the beach.

Children can safely splash around in the sheltered bay. You will also find many other beaches nearby. Cote Sauvage is a popular spot for surfers. You should also drive to the the stunning beach at Saint-Palais-sur-Mer where you can see the famous Renaissance Cordouan Lighthouse. It is set in the middle of the sea!
