Description of the campsite

In the Dordogne, at the crossroads of the green, white and black Périgords, Camping d'Auberoche extends its shaded and discreet pitches on the banks of a charming river, the Auvézère. Christèle and Christophe will welcome you warmly whether in a tent, caravan, or motorhome. Some pitches are even equipped with a chalet including a kitchen with everything you need. You can also stay there in a rental: mobile homes, wooden and canvas lodge tents without sanitary facilities (new for 2023) by the river, Bengali tents, or gites, by the night, a weekend, a week or more. A real little corner of paradise to recharge your batteries, to disconnect on the banks of the Auvézère, where you can fish, near Périgueux and close to nature. So do not hesitate to stop there for your weekends or holidays! We will be happy to welcome you there in a family atmosphere.

Close to the GR36, this place can be a stopover for hiking enthusiasts. On site you can enjoy the heated swimming pool (from May to September depending on the weather), fishing in the Auvézère, pétanque, table football, ping-pong.... Children are not forgotten with a trampoline, a inflatable structure, .... Karaoke, concerts and theme evenings will liven up your summer evenings. Without forgetting our traditional giant barbecue every Wednesday in the summer. A small night market with local producers and creators comes to the campsite every Thursday evening in July and August.

In the heart of Périgord, easy access from the campsite to the major tourist sites of the Vallée de l'Homme. Only 20 km from the TOURTOIRAC cave and the CHATEAU de HAUTEFORT, a few km from Montignac and LASCAUX, without forgetting Brantôme, Bourdeilles... And the magnificent town of Périgueux with its cathedral and its Gallo-Roman site.

Arrival from Bordeaux: A89 exit no. 15 Périgueux center, direction Boulazac D6089, Bassillac Airport, then direction Hautefort via D5, cross LE CHANGE while remaining on the D5, arrive on the right at +/- 1.5 km.
By the A89 from Brive, exit 17, follow direction Périgueux Bordeaux to Thenon, then take the D68 direction Ajat, Cubjac then LE CHANGE
From Limoges by the N21, continue to Sarliac sur l'Isle, and after Sarliac at a place called LAURIERE turn left and continue straight on until Cubjac, at the quarry turn right, the campsite will be 3 minutes on the left .
