Camping Le Daguet

Camping Le Daguet is an ideal place for holidays for both families with young children and couples. In the woods you might come across deer, from where the campsite gets its name. The campsite rests on a hill and the view that you have is breathtaking! It's a small scale campsite with a nice, relaxing atmosphere.

From the campsite you have a truly unique panoramic view over the valley of the Céou River. Here you can see for miles across the impressive landscape of the Périgord Noir, as this beautiful piece of France is called. To the north you can see as far as Castelnaud and the town of Domme on the Dordogne can also be seen.

Some tips for your holiday at Camping Le Daguet in Daglan

  • Make time for a look around the picturesque village of Daglan.
  • Visit the ancient settlement city Sarlat with its beautiful old centre that has remained intact over the centuries. In this car-free area there are numerous artisans and their shops. There are also plenty of other shops with regional products like truffles and the foie gras for you to have a browse around.
  • Go on an unforgettable canoe trip on the Dordogne. Start in Vitrac, just 10km away. A shuttle bus will bring you back to the starting point. Fancy a trip in a hot air balloon? At Le Daguet they will tell you how to arrange this.
  • A trout farm, where you can also fish, is just 5 kilometres from the campsite. It's perfect for catching your own dinner, which you can cook back on your campsite barbecue.
  • There are two magnificent castles close by for you to admire. Chateau Le Milandes and Chateau de Castelnaud.
  • Feel like even more action? Try the mountain bike trails nearby. Just a short ride away and you're ready to go!
