Some tips for your holiday at Camping Le Mas in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil

    • Unmissable experience and a real family adventure: a canoe trip on the Dordogne, the Isle or the Vézère. Three romantic rivers that cross the landscape. Paddling and chatting together, but occasionally becoming quiet taking in the serene environment.
    • Visit the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat-la-Canéda. The capital of the Périgord. Tip: the colourful Saturday market where you can buy regional products such as nut oil, cheeses, truffles, Bergerac wines, pies and terrines.
    • Visit Beynac-et-Cazenac. After a 17 kilometre drive you’ll arrive in one of the most picturesque places in France. Stroll through the streets to the top of the village and admire the view from the castle over the surrounding area and the Dordogne River.
    • Successful outing with young children? Drive to the famous Château des Milandes, 20 kilometers from the campsite. Thanks to the birds of prey shows and performances, this is the best 'children's castle' in the Dordogne.
    • Impressive: the prehistoric caves of Lascaux near Montignac, only 25 kilometres away. To protect the world-famous murals, you can no longer visit the original cave. But your mouth drops open in surprise in the full-scale replica cave.
    • Another cave with famous rock paintings: the cave of Font-de-Gaume near Saint-Cyprien. You can still really visit this (limited number of people per day). Very close, moreover: only 8 kilometres away.
    • Less than an hour's drive: the picturesque towns of Périgueux and Bergerac. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the French feeling.
    • Nearest airport: Brive- Valée de la Dordogne at 55 km
    • Second nearest airport: Bergerac Dordogne at 70 km
    • Train station: 10 km
    • Nearest city/village: 12 km
    • Supermarket: 15 km
