• Fans of ancient warfare go to the 'museum of war and the middle ages' at Chateau de Castelnaud (27 km), near Domme.Take a tour around the amazing assortment of ancient arms and weaponry to see what medieval life in a castle was really like.
• Still not made that special holiday photo? Take a trip to Beynac (22 km), one of France’s most picturesque places. Stroll through the streets to the top of the village and enjoy the stunning views from the chateau looking down across the Dordogne river.
• Looking for something really spectacular? Go to the Chateau des Milandes in Castelnaud-la-Chapelle ( 24 km), to watch the amazing Birds of Prey show. See wonderful birds such as falcons, hawks and eagles fly around the manicured gardens of the 15th century chateau.
• Spoil the kids and take them to Quercyland in Souillac (28 km). It’s a great day out for all the family. With an aquapark, 5 solar-heated swimming pools, giant water slides, mini-golf, inflatable castles, trampolines and paddle boats.
