Camping Les Péneyrals

Camping Les Péneyrals is a 5 star family campsite set in a green oasis by the village of Saint-Crépin-en-Carlucet. It’s just 10km from the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat and the perfect base from which to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Dordogne. With a huge water park and playground it’s a kid’s paradise, but the enthusiastic entertainment team make sure everyone has the time of their lives!

    • A must see for lovers of prehistoric art. The caves of Lascaux near Montignac (20 km). Over 600 incredible wall paintings show what life was like in an ancient cave.
    • Does a slice of culture with some amazing food sound enticing? Visit Sarlat-la-Canéda (10km), one of France’s most marvelous medieval towns. Wander the beautiful, ancient streets and admire the cathedral on place du Peyrou.Then sit down at a restaurant for the local specialty, tasty duck breast!
    • Fans of ancient warfare go to the 'museum of war and the middle ages' at Chateau de Castelnaud (27 km), near Domme.Take a tour around the amazing assortment of ancient arms and weaponry to see what medieval life in a castle was really like.
