Some tips for your holiday at Camping Domaine de Soulac in Soulac-sur-Mer

    • Take your pick of the beautiful sandy beaches at Soulac-sur-Mer. Amélie-Plage (3 km) is the place to be for little beachcombers: there are lifeguards on the beach and the sea is shallow for a long way out. Naïades-Plage (3 km) and Centre-Plage (5 km) are also great places for sunbathing, watersports, building huge sandcastles or just blowing those cobwebs away!
    • What’s the most unique beach in the area? Dune de Pilat of course!. It’s the tallest sand dune in Europe and the ultimate ‘Sahara by the Ocean’ experience. It’s an hour’s drive from the campsite. And now you’re here, why not drop into the pretty little fishing village Arcachon and the upmarket seaside resort of Cap Ferret.
    • Are you a wine lover? Then you’ll really enjoy this holiday! The fantastic vineyards of Saint-Emilion and the Médoc are just 40km south east of Bordeaux. Soak up the stunning scenery….and enjoy a glass of wine by a charming chateau.
    • Fancy a trip to the city? Head for Bordeaux. The world’s wine capital and a seriously welcoming city! Its city centre is car free, has some lively quayside areas by the water and it has a spectacular square filled with fountains opposite the Place de la Bourse. Kids love it there: running in and out between the sprinklers.•A must do: explore the surroundings on your bike. The region is very flat. With well signposted bike routes that will guide you through lush woods, beautiful beaches and pretty villages.

    • Area: flat and wooded
