L'ideal campsite, I can't recommend this campsite enough. We are a family of 5 with kids aged 8,9 & 12, and this was our first holiday away from the normal all inclusive hotel. Firstly Lake Annecy is absolutely stunning!! beautiful clean water with faci.ities set up all over for families and children of all ages. The campsite is clean, tidy and staff were lovely, every question answered and very polite, friendly and happy!! The pools were perfect, an outside infant pool, an outside bigger pool and a heated pool in the middle with the option of a cover if it's raining. The 2 slides are very good. The campsite play area is well thought out with a climbing frame, bouncy castle, trampoline, football pitch and tennis courts. The bar/restaurant is lovely, located by the pool so you can keep an eye on the kids. The food for a campsite is very, very good with a takeaway option as well. The little shop is perfect with freshly baked pastries and baguettes cooked on site every morning. I also found the location to be quite good as it's towards the bottom of the lake. So rather than being close to Annecy town the traffic is a lot quieter and also gives you the opportunity to see more of the lake. We will be definitely coming back.

    Area tip

The Lidl or Inter Marche in Albertsville is closer than the ones in Annecy. The town of Le sambuy as well as the beach at the foot of the lake by Campéole is a must visit.
