Some tips for your holiday at Camping La Plage in Argelès-sur-Mer

    • Rent some bicycles (or trendy Fatbees) and tour the boulevard along the coast. There are 39 kilometres of cycle paths nearby.
    • What a blast!. Travelling with the old yellow train through the Catalan Pyrenees. Either sit in a covered or open coupe and admire the beautiful mountain surroundings?
    • Children are enthralled by the bird of prey show in Les Aigles de Valmy. After all that excitement you can relax in the botanical garden of Parc de Valmy.
    • Stroll through the lovely Village Médiéval de Castelnou and Forteresse de Salses. Or take a trip back through time at the Musée de Tautavel archaeological museum. You can touch real old skeleton parts here!
    • Want a splashingly good day out with the kids? Go to Aqualand Saint Cyprien, just 7 kilometres away. In this water park, the kids can whizz down crazy slides, either with or without inflatable tire. Will you dare to brave the Space Navigator, Anaconda and Black Hole?
    • Admire the towns of Collioure, Saint-Martin du Canigou and Perpignan; all highly recommended sights close to your campsite.
    • Fancy a little taste of culture in Spain? Then hop across the border close by to picturesque Cadaqués (where Dali and Picasso lived), historic Gerona and fabulous Figuères with its Dali Museum.
    • Want a more literal taste of local culture? Then try the olives, wine, anchovies and fruit grown in this region.
    • Fans of challenging hikes climb to the top of Pic du Canigou (600 meters altitude). First drive to the Refuge des Cortalets mountain hut, because that is where the 2-hour route starts. At the top you will see the famous Saint-Martin du Canigou Abbey and of course the fantastic view!
