Some tips for your holiday at Domaine de Sainte-Véziane in Bessan

  • Fancy a day at the beach? Then head for Cap d'Agde. There’s 14 km of fine sand waiting for you by the magnificent Mediterranean.
  • For a little history go to one of the oldest cities in France, Beziers, founded in 575 BCE (20 km). Admire the 14th century Saint-Nazaire Cathedral and the Musée des Beaux Arts with paintings by Rubens and Delacroix.
  • Visit the charming port of Sète (40 km) set alongside the saltwater lagoon of Étang du Thau, Sète. Take a trip along the lovely canals that give this city its nickname ‘Little Venice of Languedoc’. Then stop for lunch and have some of the best seafood you’ll ever taste!
  • Lovers of art and history visit Narbonne (55km) to see the wonderful Archbishop’s Palace and its Romanesque and Gothic architecture and admire the largest set of Roman paintings in France.
  • Feel like some culture, shopping and fine food? Visit the stylish city of Montpellier. Pop into the Fabre Arts museum to see work by Rubens and Renoir, stroll the city’s majestic boulevards for some quality retail therapy. Then rest your weary feet at one of the restaurants at the Place de la Comédie and have a fabulous meal.
  • Want to go wine tasting close by? The vineyards of Pomerols are just 10 km away.
