Some tips for your holiday at Camping La Marine in Le Grau-du-Roi
- The wild horses which run free in the Camargue are famous worldwide. A good way to expore the area is by horseback and there are several stables in the locality. It is at its most beautiful in the early morning.
- The town of Le Grau-du-Roi is nearby and here, at the mouth of the Rhone, is l'Espiguette, the larges beach in Europe. Enjoy a walk along the beach towards the lighthouse.
- The pretty seaside resort of Saintes Maries-de-la-Mer is a short distance away.
- Visit Montpellier and Nimes, both of which are rich in Roman and medieval history. Visit the Maison Carrée and the arena in Nimes.
