Some tips for your holiday at Camping Aloha in Sérignan

    • After an hour's drive, you reach bustling Montpellier. Stroll through La vieille Ville, the city's oldest district. 500 metres further on, take holiday photos at Place de la Comédie. This is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful squares in France. Need to cool down? You can do that in Jardin des Plantes or one of the other 100 parks and gardens.
    • In the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park, you are surrounded by gorges, lakes, peaks and valleys. Cycle along the "Passa Païs" greenway, catch a fish in the Jaur, the Agoût or the Mare, and sip the sparkling mineral water of Vernière and Salvetat. Take a refreshing dip in the lakes of Avène, Saut de Vesoles and Raviège.
    • The campsite is 96 kilometres from Carcassonne. Recognise the name? Not surprising if you do, as a board game is named after this medieval city. Stroll over the Pont Neuf, where you can take beautiful photos of the castle. Tip: Visit the castle and the streets around it early in the morning. During high season, the narrow alleys of the tourist attraction can quickly feel crowded and temperatures can be quite high.
    • After a 20-minute drive, you'll reach Béziers. Here too, the Pont Neuf offers great views, but of the Saint-Nazaire cathedral. Get lost in the streets of one of France's old town centres, visit the two bullrings and shop for the tastiest French delicacies in Les Halles. In this 1891-built covered market hall, sink your teeth into French cheeses, meats and chocolate. There is even a small indoor bistro for wine tasting.
    • You’re 42 kilometres from Faugères. As you approach this AOC, the surroundings turn into a beautiful hilly landscape with vines. Settle down for a tasting in the dozens of domaines. You can’t miss them: the white signs along the road indicate a pearl hidden in the rolling southern French hills.
