Some tips for your holiday at Camping Moulin de l'Eclis in Assérac

    • This region is known for its beautiful light. Like in Mesquer-Quimiac where the salt pans, oyster harbors and ocean beaches merge into a dreamy landscape. This area is located north of Guérande.
    • The Gulf of Morbihan is one of Brittany's eye-catchers. An unearthly coastline with granite rocks, strewn islands and charming villages. Get a breath of fresh air by the sea, step on a bicycle or map out a hiking route. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
    • Guérande is one of the hundred most beautiful cities in France. Behind the thick ramparts lies a romantic town with cobbled alleys and houses with slate roofs. Outside the city, the landscape looks like a puzzle of white squares, which area actually salt pans! This cultural landscape is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
    • The town of Asserac is within cycling distance. Take the coastal path at Port-Mahé and cycle through the dunes to the center. Further on, you’ll find the protected natural park of Brière. A trip on a traditional barge through this wetland is not to be missed.
    • You will find the most beautiful beach of the region in Penestin. La Mine d'Or is an elongated sandy beach with golden cliffs. A heavenly place to unfold your beach towel on. Finish your day in style at the port of Tréhiguier, with a delicious plate of Bouchot mussels, the regional specialty.
    • The walled city of Vannes is a must-see on the Gulf of Morbihan. Zigzag through the medieval streets, visit the fine arts museum and treat the kids to a trip to the aquarium.
    • A shipyard full of cranes, a harbor with historic ocean liners and a center that resembles Havana. Does this city exist? Yes, the city of Saint-Nazaire is the name. Experience this unique city and settle down on one of the twenty(!) beaches at the end of your visit.
    • A big city day trip? The city of Nantes has something for everyone. Stroll through the botanical garden of Le Jardin des Plantes, climb the towers of the castle and admire the magical creations at the fantasy museum Les Machines.
