Some tips for your holiday at Camping La Rivièra in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef

    • Cycling! Another top activity on the Jade Coast. Discover the Douaniers, a popular sea-view cycling route between Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef and Les Moutiers-en-Retz. Step on the brakes when you suddenly pass tall wooden towers with strange hoist constructions. Are these medieval cranes? No, they're pecheries. Traditional fishing huts with cross nets attached to long poles. These eye-catchers belong to the coastal heritage here.
    • The campsite is located 7 kilometres from romantic Pornic. You could shoot a Disney film in this painting-worthy place. The colourful harbour, the polished castle, the wooden sailing ships, the cobbled streets that lure you into the medieval centre ... a picture!
    • Are you a beach hopper? The beach of Tharom is at your feet, but in nearby Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, La Bernerie-en-Retz and La Plaine-sur-Mer you will get a great tan too!
    • Take a tour to the salt pans of Guérande. This unique cultural landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Impressive!
    • Planète Sauvage is a nice zoo near Nantes. Your kids won't want to miss the dolphin show!
    • You’ll camp by the ocean, so you’ll want to know everything about it! That’s possible at the Océarium Croisic, a great aquarium where you can meet sharks, rays, sea turtles and other sea inhabitants.
    • A day in the city? Nantes has something for everyone. Stroll through the botanical garden Le Jardin des Plantes, climb the towers of the castle and admire the magical creations in the fantasy museum, Les Machines.
    • Nearest airport: Nantes (NTE) at 50 km
    • Train station: 40 km
    • Area: flat
    • Nearest city/village: 1 km
    • Nearest sea: at 1,2 km from the Atlantic Ocean
