- Cycling! Another top activity on the Jade Coast. Discover the Douaniers, a popular sea-view cycling route between Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef and Les Moutiers-en-Retz. Step on the brakes when you suddenly pass tall wooden towers with strange hoist constructions. Are these medieval cranes? No, they're pecheries. Traditional fishing huts with cross nets attached to long poles. These eye-catchers belong to the coastal heritage here.
