    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Le Relais du Campeur in Rocamadour

    • After 1.2 kilometres of walking or driving, you arrive in Rocamadour. This pilgrimage site is characterised by its construction high into the rock face. Climb 216 steps to Chapelle Notre-Dame or visit Basilique Saint-Sauveur. You can enjoy a phenomenal view of the three parts of the city at L'Hospitalet.
    • La Forêt des Singes is located 550 metres from the campsite. Many macaques roam freely in this monkey forest. There are no bars or cages here, so you can study their craziest antics.
    • After a 20-minute drive, park your car at Gouffre de Padirac. Arrive at the entrance of the stalactite cave by elevator or on foot, at a depth of more than 100 metres. You can complete the tour with a boat trip after a short walk.
    • The Rocher des Aigles bird sanctuary is located about 2 kilometres away. Here you come face-to-face with more than 60 species, and you’re very welcome at the bird show. The kids learn all about parrots, caracaras, eagles, and vultures.
    • And Grotte des Merveilles? Walk 350 metres and you’re there. Discover petroglyphs dating back 20,000 years on an organised tour. You’ll also get more information about the history and the ancient murals.
