- After a 35-minute drive you’ll reach Toulouse. Visit the Saint-Sernin Basilica, Église des Jacobins, and cool off in the city gardens. This student city is bursting with cosy restaurants, bars, and cafes. You should definitely try dishes such as poulet fermier du Gers and les confits et foies gras. Or order L'armagnac on the terrace; a local liqueur.
