Why Camping Les Eaux Chaudes?
- Set between the hills of the Provence, near the hot springs of Digne
- Swimming at the campsite is so relaxing
- Fun, modest campsite with very reasonable prices
Camping Les Eaux Chaudes is a small campsite set in a quiet location around 2km from the centre of Digne-les-Bains. The name refers to the hot wells in the valley that were discovered by the Romans. An ideal campsite for famillies with young children.
Not only did the Romans consider Digne-les-Bains worth a visit, Napoleon also stopped here on his way to Paris. Follow the same route as he did along the N85, now known as the Route Napoléon. Digne-les-Bains is also the city of 'Les-Misérables', the famous book written by Victor Hugo, made even more famous by the film and musical adaptations.
"A quiet campsite with an altitude of 650m in the beautiful Provence landscape between the sweet smell of the lavender fields. Close to the friendly Digne city centre and the Route Napoleon."
