Some tips for your holiday at Camping Les Routes de Provence in Forcalquier
- Stroll just 500 metres from your campsite to the pretty village of Forcalquier. Wander the narrow old streets to Place Saint-Michel and admire the 12th century ""concathedral"" Notre Dame de l'Assomption. Then go to the main Place du Bourguet for a lovely, long, lazy lunch.
- Fancy swimming in the gorgeous emerald waters of Europe’s largest canyon? Then head for the Gorges of the Verdon river , which borders the Alpes de Haute-Provence department to the south.
- History lovers go to the ancient town of Manosque (22km). Pass through the impressive 14th century gateways Porte du Soubeyran and the Porte de la Saunerie and then admire the magnificent 13th century Church of Saint-Sauveur, with its beautiful bell tower.
