Camping Domaine de l'Etang

Camping Domaine de l'Etang is a small, but cosy campsite beautifully set in nature, near the Loire river and the famous Loire Valley vineyards. It’s a perfect destination for those looking for both some peace and quiet and plenty to see and do. The lovely city of Angers is close by and the area is full of marvelous castles and charming Loire villages. The campsite is also a real paradise for kids, with a pool, kids club and a recreation park next door.

  • Fancy something really unique? Then visit Terra Botanica in Angers (18km). This amazing combination of amusement park and botanical gardens is a treat for all ages. Be thrilled by the 4D Dinosaur experience, marvel at the butterfly house, ride a nutshell or in a small hot air balloon and learn all about the areas fascinating plant life!
  • Spoil the kids with a visit to the Biopark Doue la Fontaine zoo , just 25km away from the campsite. This wonderful zoo has been created in an old rock quarry, giving the animals lots of space in a natural environment and allowing you to really see them properly.
  • Lots of culture, ancient castles, a great modern art museum and fantastic food? Sound good to you? Then head for the charming city of Angers, capital of Anjou and gateway to the Loire Valley. Visit the impressive Chateau d’Angers and admire the works of Greuze, Chardin and Watteau in the Musée des Beaux-Arts d’Angers. Then enjoy a glass of Anjou wine and lunch at a local bistro!
