- Treat the kids to a great day out at Atlantic Toboggan water park. It's just a short bike ride away from the campsite (5km).
- Feel like an adventure? Head for Explora Parc (5km) to climb high in the tree tops and then whizz down at full speed on zip lines!
- Daredevils take the road to the stunning peninsula of Noirmoutier (35 km). Only possible at low tide. At high tide the ocean swallows up the picturesque road!
- Looking for a fun trip for the family? Then visit the city of Nantes (70km). Stroll through its cosy city centre with trendy shops lining the ancient streets. Terraced bars welcome you around every corner. Don't be afraid if you see a giant metal mammoth. This 12m high Jules Verne type machine regularly walks through the city streets.
- Did the mammoth awaken your interest? Then go to the Les Machines de L'Île, a fantasy factory where artists and technicians create weird and wonderful creatures and bring these to life. Chinese dragons, giant spiders, flying monsters. You won't believe your eyes!
- For something really unique go to the Puy de Fou amusement park (115km). You won't find any rides or rollercoasters here, but spectacular shows with amazing special effects. An amazing trip through history will have you on the edge of your seat. Before you know it you'll be in the middle of a medieval battle or surrounded by gladiators in a Roman arena.
