Camping Les Amiaux

We stayed at les amiaux in the last week of July weather is great hot but not too hot if you go any further south. We stayed here about 10 years ago and loved the site for the pools close to the beach and st Jean de Monts for the evening. The van was brand new with a great covered decking area that doubled the size and where we spent most of our time at the van. The bedrooms were spacious enough and there is a great shower room with plenty of room which is always a bonus. The camp rep Lee was very welcoming and friendly and very helpful check in and out was a breeze. The site itself is very family friendly with 4 pools split across 2 sites the outside pool is big enough to swim in although a bit busy at times with a small child’s pool with small slides and other play elements about ankle deep so safe for little ones. The other pools are on the other side of the camp one indoors and the other with slides outside which provide hours of entertainment for young and old. All pools have lifeguards. There is an on site shop with essentials a bar/restaurant and take away with a small selection of food but all very nice. You can walk to the beach if you want but it is only a short drive with free parking. This is a nice sandy beach shallow when the tide is out with no long walk good for a bit of boogie boarding for little ones. There is mini golf nearby very reasonably priced as is the food available there as well and would highly recommend but in the evening when it is less busy. Quad biking is a couple of km up the road so plenty to do. St Jean de Monts is good for an evening stroll about 10 mins by car and again free parking. Overall a great holiday brilliant accommodation with a friendly rep and an excellent site

We arrived at 1.30 for a 4pm check in but Lee had our rent ready straight away which was a bonus. He was really helpful and very relaxed. The site was excellent. Facilities good, especially the 4 pools. We liked the way the rows were set out with a mix of pitches. Liked having a tap per pitch. Takeaway, bar and restaurant good. Our group enjoyed the Brazilian night in the bar. The shop was good and we got croissants and pastries every morning. The tunnel under the road made things nice and safe for the kids getting around.

We just returned from a wonderful holiday in Les Amiaux. Our mobile home was beautiful and the campsite was fantastic for kids.
