Some tips for your holiday at Camping Loyada in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire
- After stepping on the gas pedal, you'll settle on the fine sandy beaches of the Côte de Lumière. In particular, the Plage du Veillon is an absolute favourite among avid beach goers and water sports enthusiasts.
- For native natural beauty, just go around the corner by foot. With a firm or strolling pace, the huge forests of Pays de Monts are pedometer worthy. The forest stretches 42km all the way between Fromentine and Sion Ocean.
- For sky-high fun, the lighthouse town of La Chaume is the place to be. Within 25 minutes you tour to the cozy coastal town. When there are a lot of waves, the lighthouse, which is located two kilometres from the coast in the sea, is a spectacular sight.
- Little castle combers and treasure hunters will have fun in Le Château des Aventuriers castle museum. After a short car ride of just 10 minutes, you’ll suddenly be part of an interactive treasure hunt or ghost tour.
- An amusement park packed with shows? Drive an hour from the campsite and enter the gates of Puy du Fou. Tough knight shows, acrobatic scenes and impressive spectacles are a permanent fixture here.
- The perfect day trip can be experienced in Les Sables-d'Olonne. After a 20-minute drive you’ll stroll, shop, toast and dine in all the scents and colours of the beach or promenade. The kids have a blast at the city zoo!
- Horse lovers enjoy themselves in the charming town of La Roche-sur-Yon. After a 40-minute drive, you can take a look behind the stable screens at the famous stud farm. You’ll be fully informed about traditional horse breeding and the French cavalry.
