Your place of stay
Between the Dordogne Valley and the regional nature park of the Causses du Quercy, close to Rocamadour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the famous Padirac gulf, the Ventoulou 4* campsite is located 2 steps away from major tourist sites that make the Lot proud, not to mention 6 of the most beautiful villages in France less than 20 km away!

A family site par excellence, Ventoulou 4* is labeled "Quality Tourism", "Engagé Zero Phyto" and "Tourisme Zero Déchet" for its commitment to eco-responsible tourism.

In a very wooded environment, this bubble of nature offers calm and rest, freshness at the warmest hours of summer, a beautiful address to take time for yourself but also disconnect or (re)connect with the authentic surrounding nature.
Here no chichi, but a warm welcome by an invested team that places the welfare of its holidaymakers at the heart of its priorities.

Careful services are offered throughout the season, between a quality restaurant offering local cuisine, a wellness area with a massage area and an entertainment program that will make your holiday more enjoyable.

The Ventoulou even offers our friends dogs, accompanying holidaymakers, a range of dedicated services: their own playground the Totuparc, an agility course, a guard service in July/August, adapted shower and mist, in short the "dog paradise"! The campsite has even received the 2023 prize of "camping best suited to dogs".

Between breathtaking landscapes, good table, small markets, regional festivities and ultra-comfortable accommodation, with or without "towel", the Ventoulou does not lack any assets!

Aquatic space
Nice swimming pool of about 150 m2, covered and heated, with removable roof allowing to be discovered when the beautiful weather allows.
To you the lengths or just the happiness to relax or refresh while having foot on its edges on more than 1.20 m wide in gentle slope.
This covered area is decorated with a simple paddling pool for the youngest, unheated.

Outside, a water playground of nearly 200 m2 awaits the youngest who will create endless adventures and enjoy themselves safely.

As soon as the sun points at the tip of its nose, take advantage of the solarium with sunbeds and parasols paillote for a relaxing break.

Dates and opening times of the aquatic area:
- All season from 10/04 to 27/09. Every day from 9am to 7pm (2pm from 01/07 to 31/08)
- Indoor swimming pool: open and heated all season from 10/04 to 27/09. She discovers herself according to the beautiful weather
- Covered paddling pool: open and unheated all season from 10/04 to 27/09. It is discovered according to the beautiful weather, heated by the summer sun
- Outdoor water playground: unheated, open all season from 10/04 to 27/09

NB: Long shorts and bermudas are not allowed. Short boxers and swim shorts are tolerated if used only for the pool. Shower required. As a hygiene measure, floating objects (balloons, fries, mattresses, etc.) are prohibited there with the exception of armbands and buoys for small children. Swimming unattended.

Animations and Activities
Far from urban frenzy, you enjoy the tranquillity of places whatever the season.

If in low season, the atmosphere is more peaceful, during the summer holidays (from 06/07 to 28/08), the campsite wakes up offering a programme of sports and fun activities.

2 to 3 afternoons a week, an animator will propose you, multi-activity challenges, nature events: Try archery, skill games, treasure hunt, all these original activities that will amuse young and old!
He/she will also offer you an aqua gym course in the morning, 4 times a week.

Some afternoons, other collective activities are on the program: ping-pong or pétanque tournament, waterpolo but also educational outings and discovery of local crafts and artisans.

Outdoor tours and theme excursions are also organized with partner service providers (with surcharge): Canoe and Stand-Up Paddle on the Dordogne, climbing feet in the water, canyoning, hiking with guide, etc.

In the evening, everyone finds themselves in the animation room or in front of the brand new scene: loto, quizzes, concert, live music, games and other surprises. DJ Alex Event will also host dance and karaoke parties.

Children's Club (from 5 to 12 years old, by registration on site): from 06/07 to 28/08, Monday to Friday from 10am to 12pm: indoor or outdoor activities (painting, creative arts, track play, treasure hunt). Only one desire, to make them enjoy the large spaces, the natural environment and the open air life.

Multisport terrain for the practice of balloon sports and badminton, petanque fields and table tennis tables (think about taking your own equipment).
The younger ones have a first beautiful playground with trampoline, climbing games, turnstiles and swings without forgetting the huge inflatable pirate boat proudly hovering at the back of the pool. A 2nd playground is especially dedicated to the youngest (up to 6 years old), the opportunity to evacuate too much energy!
Indoor games room with baby football, flipper and car racing arcade games (with extra charge, provide small currency).

On the occasion of the great sporting events of the summer, a large giant TV screen is available at the "Pako Club", to follow the event or stages of the Tour de France. A small library offers more than 1000 reading references.
A few tasting evenings are also organized with local partners, in truffles, Gaul banquet or visit a chocolate craftsman to create the link between holidaymakers and local artisans proud of their know-how in serving the region's culinary specialties.

The region and the proximity of the Natural Park of the Causses du Quercy, offers a multitude of outdoor activities, combining family activities and natural surroundings. Canoeing is a must for your holidays. Many nearby rental companies (with surcharge).

Services
Throughout the season, a grocery corner with a few troubleshooting products is at the reception, accessible during the opening hours of the reception: regional products from local partners such as terrines and canned duck, walnut oil, honey, Cahors wine, locally brewed artisan beer, jams and also a bread and pastries depot, every day (on order the day before at the reception).
For the biggest races, be assured, all services and amenities are in an environment within 10 km of the campsite.

In low season, the atmosphere is Zen with less services, conducive to total rest.

The Bar/Restaurant "La Parenthèse Quercynoise" welcomes you at noon and evening throughout the season, closing on Wednesday in low season.
Want a snack on your thumb? Enjoy salads, gourmet burgers and crispy fries or pizzas, on site or to take away!
Find yourself on the terrace, the perfect opportunity to share the good plans and unmissable visits to the surroundings with other campers, around a regional drink: local brewed beers or small country wine.
Another little pleasure of summer, the delicious ice-creams that will delight great gourmets or small gourmets!

Treat yourself to a soft parenthesis in the Relaxing Space "Bubbles of Well-being" (with surcharge). All the saion, enjoy care worthy of the best institutes, with massages, beauty area (products, aesthetic treatments).

The campsite received the prize for "the best suited for dogs" in 2023, our 4-legged friends are in the spotlight and many services are offered to them:
- A Toutou Park with agility course, fog and automatic watering machine: a 100% dog-friendly space, with suitable sandstones
- A "ToutouBar" : water point to cool after the effort
- A Canidouche: a shower adapted to refresh the animal on days of high heat but also give it a small clean blow after exploring the surroundings before returning to the mobile home. Very practical!
- Petsitter service (garderies) in the hour or at the day to enjoy the sites that are not accessible to animals. Service offered with a supplement, in July and August, by a team of professionals in an equipped and adapted space. Activities, small care: everything is done to ensure the comfort and well-being of your pet.
Without being able to "go with the wolf into the caves of Rocamadour", it is with your dear "too" that you will fully appreciate your stay at the campsite.

Other nice services:
• 2 collective barbecue spaces in secure areas (grill provided, plan charcoal). Coal and gas barbecues are permitted on the premises (only coal, gas) except barbecues, grills and electric planchas (use subject to prefectural authorization).
• 2 Washers with dryer (extra charge)
• Ready table and iron as well as vacuum cleaner on request at the reception.
• 2 charging stations for electric cars (7,4 KW - type socket 2): rates and modalities communicated on site.
