Description of the campsite
Located in the Périgord Vert, on the outskirts of the village of Verteillac 45 km south of Angouleme and 50 km northwest of Périgueux, the Camping Pontis welcomes you for a stay to the discovery of nature.
The campsite includes:
1 space of 80 sqm comfortable caravan
67 seats from 80 to 140 m² leisure,
8 spaces for motor homes.
Total 67 locations.
While on holiday in the Dordogne, you can enjoy many sports and leisure activities .
The huge advantage of the off-site quiet and quiet provision of these activities, besides being free and very close, allows the campsite to keep a great calm without cries of children who show their enthusiasm or participants who are disapproving about the validity of a point
A playground for children is offered inside the campsite.
Three barbecues built in hard and scattered on the ground are at your disposal. Many attractions such as meals with orchestra are already scheduled for the year to come. The swimming pool is municipal, it is very close to the campsite, 200 meters without road to cross. It is free for campers every afternoon. It is heated and supervised by lifeguards. It has several pools and is open from early June until late August.
Two tennis courts, redone new are proposed at the gate of the campsite. They are free for campers
A minute away, without a road to cross, a very large bowling alley will allow you to play petanque games fierce.
The huge advantage of the off-camping provision but very close to these activities, besides being free, allows the campsite to keep quiet without screams of children or participants.

A few rowing is enough to reach Brantôme, the Venice of Périgord, perfect for romantic getaways. Nearby the castle of Bourdeilles houses a delicate Renaissance home.
Not far from here, is Saint Jean de Cole, one of the most enchanting villages of Périgord.
Do not miss the Villars concretions cave, adorned with one of the few human representations of cave art. Before a swim at the pond of La Jemaye, do not forget to stock up on local produce at the Friday market in Ribérac.
Around the circuit of churches with cupolas will complete to register forever in your memories this unforgettable vagrancy in our region.

If you arrive from Angouleme by the D 708, enter Verteillac and when you climb the coast, you will see signs inviting you to turn left towards the Gendarmerie, the Festival Hall. Take this direction to the stop, turn left, and immediately after the petanque, turn right, we are at the end of the street.
If you arrive by Ribérac, enter Verteillac, go around the place while staying on the main road that will make you turn to the right at the end of the square. Go down the road, always on the national 708 and in the descent, you have a small street on the right (direction of the Gendarmerie, the Festival Hall). Take this direction to the stop, turn left, and immediately after the petanque, turn right, we are at the end of the street.
