Welcome to the Domaine Berrua **** campsite , close to the center of the small traditional village of Bidart on the Atlantic coast, offering a privileged location at the foot of the Pyrenees (South Aquitaine, Pyrénées Atlantiques, France).
More precisely 1 km from the beaches, 4 km from Biarritz, 8 km from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, 30 km from Hendaye on the Spanish border. An exceptional situation for a successful vacation with family or friends!
You will find numerous leisure facilities and infrastructures such as an indoor heated swimming pool, ping-pong table, bowling alley, multi-sports ground. Everything will be within your reach to combine relaxation, water sports and discovery of this land of the South-West rich in a cultural identity that needs no introduction.
For a successful family vacation, we offer activities and entertainment suitable for all ages in July/August. So, you can register your children at the Children's Club where they will participate in many activities with children their age. Our qualified entertainers will entertain your children by offering them different activities: painting, singing, coloring, modeling clay, treasure hunt, water games, etc.
For your comfort, the campsite offers services such as a restaurant called La Table du Berrua. It welcomes you in a local and friendly atmosphere where you can taste specialties from the Basque Country (axoa, piperade etc.) while enjoying the theme evenings of the Bidart campsite. That's not all, the Snack Bar la Txalupa, located by the swimming pool, with a beautiful terrace, will offer you pizzas, burgers, fries, pancakes and waffles, all day long to eat on place or take away. Why not sip a small aperitif with some tapas?
During the day in high season, La Txalupa warmly welcomes you to its terrace which overlooks the swimming pool, a place to meet and relax.
You will have access to an area with free WIFI access. 50 m from Domaine Berrua, a shuttle has been set up to allow you to reach the beaches or the village center in July/August.
From the campsite in the Basque Country , vacationers who love tourism can also take a trip inland and visit the towns of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle or Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Visit the Rocher de la Virginie, take the Rhune train or also go to Hendaye via the corniche. Dogs of 1st and 2nd category are prohibited in the campsite.
