Surfing, beaches, Bayonne ham, panoramas from the cliffs, Espelette capital of the chilli, Ainhoa, Sare or St-Jean-Pied-de-Port ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, rafting downhill, hiking in the hinterland, and you can continue the list for a long time... Here is a beautiful area that smells good holiday and beautiful traditions.

Less than 2 km (1,600 m!) from the beach and only 4 km from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, 15 minutes from the legendary seaside resort Biarritz, place your suitcases at Suhiberry 4* campsite.
Nestled in a pretty green corner, on the hillside, with panoramic views of the Rhune, this family-run, almost intimate campsite highlights its values: simplicity, authenticity, quality services, charm and traditions of the Basque Country in all its forms.

On the menu include: Pool area, restaurant-snack-bar and sports du cru (Basque pelotte and Sokatira: rope shooting) without forgetting the river fishing or the petanque party between neighbours!
The mini farm and the two playgrounds, one of them, indoor and nestled in an adorable Basque doll house, await the little adventurers in short panties.

You also stay in recent mobile homes, equipped, TV, dishwasher and plancha, located in a small vegetated pedestrian area, without car!

You'll understand, we say yes! This campsite is close to everything and far from nothing, and ensures a stay without chichi, in the tradition of the country.... So "Ongi Etorri" at the Suhiberry!

Aquatic space
At your disposal, an outdoor swimming pool (16 m x 8 m) heated in July/August, on a gentle slope with different levels of depth (from 1 m to 1.60 m), suitable for all ages and ideal for refreshing after a beautiful day of discovery; the deckchairs around invite you to relax.

For younger children, a paddling pool, heated only by the sun's rays, with aqualudic playground, awaits them for safe fun.

Pool opening dates and times:
• Open all season from 10am to 6pm (until 7.30pm in July/August).
• Heated in July/August (and possibly from 15/06 to 15/09), subject to attendance and good weather conditions.

NB: For reasons of hygiene and safety, only clothes suitable exclusively for swimming, fit and short, are accepted: swimsuits with one or two pieces, swimwear or swimsuits. Swimming unattended all season..

Not to mention the very numerous and beautiful sandy beaches, very close to the ocean coast, where you will find all the nautical activities and of course the flagship activity of this country, surfing!
To each his style:
• Adept of water sports, the beach of Fort de Socoa awaits you at the foot of the famous fortification 20 minutes walk from the campsite or 7 minutes by bike; You can practice diving, jet-skiing, buoy towed in the beautiful bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz!
• Wanting a farniente? The Grande Plage in the historic centre of Saint-Jean-de-Luz is for you; accessible 20 minutes by bike from the campsite via a green road.
• Friends surfers, don't forget your equipment and go to the beach of Lafitenia in Saint-Jean-de-Luz or to the Grande Plage in Hendaye (15 minutes by car).

Animations and Activities
If in the low season, the atmosphere is more peaceful and under the sign of tranquillity, a team of animation offers, in July and August only, activities adapted to all ages.

During the day, aquagym sessions and yoga classes, sports tournaments, introduction to the Basque Pelote, petanque tournaments, creative workshops for the youngest and deployment of the inflatable game.
In the evening, let yourself be tempted by the tapas lotto, lively meals, hypnosis evenings, evenings with theme and colors of the Basque Country, musical and dancing with group or DJ to the rhythm of the summer tubes. What about Basque music?

There is no children's club framed on a fixed date and timetable but during the summer school holidays (July/August), the youngest (from 5 to 12 years old) are not left behind with several animations dedicated according to the show schedule of the week: makeup workshops, painting, cutting, treasure hunting and even initiations to Basque pelota and other Basque collective games like Sokatira...

Need to spend? Here you will find all the essentials of the campsite : from the multisports field (football, basketball), to the tennis court, to the table tennis tables, the boulodrome, the beach volleyball field, or the baby football with friends or family! And that's not all...

Cross the small road in front of the campsite via a secure pedestrian crossing and direction the pediment to introduce you to Basque games and sports: to you the Basque pelotus with ready of palas (wood rquettes) and ball at the reception, and for the most respectful of tradition, with bare hand! Or are you challenging rope shooting (Soka shoota in Basque)? Hey!

In continuity, a small corner of nature away, as we like them, with the goats' enclosure (whose young farmer sells his cheese 5 minutes from the campsite) and the river just near the campsite for your moment fishing and nature (with cane loan at the reception).

The "juniors" are of course found at the playground: swing, sandbox, turnstile, slide or direction the indoor games room so that they can always have fun and enjoy when the weather grimace. In summer, head for the inflatable castle for ever more twists!

Want to bubble? Consider privatizing the wellness area with its terrace with stunning views of the Rhune: relax at the jacuzzi or sauna, for your enjoyment (on reservation and with surcharge). Possibility of all season of plantar reflexology services or extra massage within the wellness area as part of the space rental or in the mobile home (regulation directly to the provider).

Possibility of renting bicycles to take the "speleton powder" and discover the surroundings: Cap on the green road, very easy and flat, which runs along the Innxin, the local river, located 600 m from the campsite. This route leads to Socoa beach, one of the beaches of the Bay of St-Jean-de-Luz (8 to 10 minutes by bike from the campsite). Arriving at the beach, it is possible to continue it; 15 minutes of bikes further and further along the secure lane, this time following the incredible bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, you get directly to the city of Corsaires du Pays-Basque and its very beautiful market known for its fresh and local products, first passing through Ciboure and its fishing port known once for the large tuna vessels that came to unload the fruit of their fishing.

Services
In low season, the beautiful is asleep and you can count on the proximity of the many shops and markets in the area to supply you. Amateurs of good table, do not hesitate to get closer to the welcome of the campsite, which will blow you the right addresses of the region.
The campsite is just 600 m away from a bakery and the legendary Basque pastry Pariès (including a boutique in Paris); you can enjoy and immerse yourself in the Basque gastronomic culture!

In the high season (from 01/07 to 31/08), for the season 2026, discover the new restaurant of the campsite that will charm you through its varied and traditional menu with the menu: typical dishes, dishes combined with Spanish, paella, fish according to arrival and even evening mussel-frites! This is the appointment not to be missed (open from 8:30 am to 11:30 pm).
A little hollow in the afternoon? Place to enjoy snack and take away products.

For breakfast, you will find fresh bread and pastries prepared and cooked on site (on order the day before for the next day). And if necessary, a grocery store with some troubleshooting products.

Your rental is equipped with a plancha ... however if the desire for the grill was too strong, collective barbecue spaces with grill (prevent coal, use subject to prefectural authorization), will allow you to take action!

For more services and comfort:
Wifi free of charge outside the rental, laundry with washing machine and dryer (additional charge), table and iron on request at the reception and even an electric terminal with two connections in the campsite (modalities and rates to consult on site).

At 600 m from the campsite, a bus stop "Putillenea" opposite the Lidl allows you to connect to the network of the Basque Country "Txik Txak" (subject to renewal for 2026).
