Description of the campsite
Here in Treignac, a “nature and sports holiday resort”, you can pitch your tent or rent a mobile-home or canvass bungalow, and discover the wonders of the Corrèze department.
The campsite has direct access to the fine sandy beach on the Lac des Barriousses, a 100 hectare lake with clear blue waters, perfect for swimming (supervised in July and August), pedal-boating or canoeing.
On the “Plateau de Millevaches”, the highest range in the Limousin region, nature-lovers are truly in their element. Breathe in the great outdoors, the heather and moorlands, the vast forests and the innumerable springs and streams. It is a sanctuary for fragile animal species such as: otters, rare butterflies, linnets, harrier-eagles, trout etc. On foot, horseback or mountain bike, you will discover the many tracks that criss-cross the area, nibbling apples, blueberries and walnuts on the way.
From Limoges: 93 km - Motorway A20 - exit 43, D20 towards Meillards, Chamberet and D16 to Treignac.
Via the A89: take exit 20, then the N120 towards Seilhac, then D940 towards Chamboulive, and follow the direction of Le Lonzac then Treignac.
