Some tips for your holiday at Camping Knaus Campingpark Hennesee in Meschede
- At the bottom of the hill on which the campsite is located, you can see the Hennesee- an eight-kilometre-long mountain lake that is ideal for all kinds of water sports. You can windsurf and swim here, and it’s also excellent fishing water. Please note that you need a permit here.
- Put on your hiking boots or pop into the campsite's bike rental. Start off with the beautiful cycling and walking tours around the lake.
- Fort Fun amusement park is 10 kilometres from the campsite. This cosy family amusement park is surrounded by a wooded hilly landscape and consists of various (challenging) roller coasters for young and old.
- The famous Movie Park Germany is a bit further away: 1.5 hours’ drive. However, the kids and/or teenagers will be rewarded immensely after this journey! The cool roller coasters and Nickland for the little ones are especially favoured.
