Camping Golden Sunset*** , nestled in the greenery of the Peloponnese , is the perfect place for those who want to explore the history of ancient Greece while enjoying the calm of the sea and sporting activities.
The campsite is located 1 km from Kato Alissos , 3 km from Kato Achaia , 19 km from Patras and its port welcoming ferries from Bari , Brindisi , Ancona and Venice , and 30 km from Rio . The nearest airports are Araxos-Patras 20 km away, Zakynthos 55 km away and Athens 261 km away.
Direct access to a fine sand beach from the campsite. A shuttle is available for an additional fee to access other beaches offering water sports.
The campsite has two swimming pools with four water slides and a large jacuzzi. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge. The swimming pools are open from May 29, 2024 to September 15, 2024.
From June 15, 2024 to September 15, 2024, the campsite organizes Greek evenings and folklore shows, Greek dance classes, study groups to learn Greek and Zumba, wine tastings and cooking classes. You will also find a football field, a basketball court and a beach volleyball court. For outdoor enthusiasts, it is possible to go trekking in the Strofilia forest, paragliding in Omplos or Santameri, climbing in the Black Mountain, karting in Vrahneika, visit a small zoo in Sageika, to practice water sports on the nearby beaches and kitesurfing at Cape Drepano.
The campsite offers a restaurant serving traditional Greek cuisine and a pool bar with views of the sea and the town of Patras. Nearby, the Panorama restaurant allows you to enjoy Greek dishes in the shade of a thousand-year-old wild olive tree with a view of the Bay of Patras.
There is a mini market and a souvenir shop on site. Free Wi-Fi, internet terminal and first aid are at your disposal.
