            The beautiful countryside of The Gerescei Mountains, Duna-Dráva National Park and Hortobágy National Park

            Take a trip from the campsite and visit the magnificent nature reserve of Gerecsei for some great hiking and biking. It’s also a rock climbers paradise and home to an amazing array of wildlife. Hortobágy National park is 800 magnificent square kilometers of low grasslands and lush flood lands filled with wildlife, folklore and cultural history. Spot a variety of fantastic creatures in the wild beautiful landscapes of the wildlife sanctuary, then hike across the Nature trail to Lake Tisza to admire the marvelous marshlands. The Duna-Dráva National Park is a bird watchers paradise. Home to Black storks, night herons and white tailed eagles. This incredibly beautiful 50.000 hectares of colourful ecosystem rests along the rivers Danube and Dráva. Be patient and you’ll see wild boar and deer herd come to feed by the water. 

            Cultural highlights in Budapest

            Rejuvenate yourself in Europe’s largest medicinal baths, Széchenyi. Locals have been re-energising here in the Pest side of town for well over 100 years. Visit Buda Castle on castle hill, overlooking the Danube river. Ride the Buda Hill Funicular to admire the majesty of the cultural treasures of the Hungarian National Gallery.
