Camping Barricata

Camping Barricata is a large family campsite set on the southern end of the beautiful nature reserve of the Po delta. With the sea on one side and the river on the other a splashing good time is guaranteed. The stunning surroundings are perfect for days out cycling, hiking or exploring by boat. With excellent facilities and lots of exciting activities Camping Barricata is ideal for a lovely family camping holiday.

  • Need a peaceful, relaxing holiday? Then this is the place to unwind and recharge those batteries. Right in the middle of the Po delta nature reserve.
  • Fancy a swim? Then jump into one of the lovely campsite pools and cool down. Little ones have their own private place to splash about in. Mum and dad can relax in the jacuzzi.
  • Want to swim in the sea? Then stroll down to your very own beach, just next to the campsite.
  • Feeling hungry? Then sit down at the campsite restaurant and spoil your taste buds with some fantastic local food.

  • Bird watchers are in heaven here. Explore the surrounding area to see herons, ducks, snowy egrets, terns, avocets, black-winged stilts, cormorants, owls and buzzards.
  • For an unforgettable day see the area from the water and go on a boat trip through the delightful Po Delta. Boats leave just 20 minutes from the campsite at Santa Giulia di Porto Tolle.
