Campsite information

Camping Cavallino

A modern and well-maintained campsite with a friendly atmosphere. Camping Cavallino is situated on the beautiful Adriatic coast, amidst a large fir tree wood. It's a short walk to the beach, but you might want to jump into the brand new water paradise first!

  • You can walk straight onto the beach from the campsite. The sands shelve gently into the sea, so children can play safely.
  • What a great water park. Several pools, waterslides for the kids, a relax area with sunbeds in the water, separate children's pools - it's all there and looks amazing. Hours and hours of water fun just waiting for you.
  • There are shady pine trees everywhere. Nice for a break from the Italian sun when you need one. There's is everything you could need: restaurant, play garden, mini golf, shop. Plus two completely renovated sanitary buildings.
  • If you take your dog along it is sure to be impressed. There's a special beach for dogs with all sorts of facilities, one such being a dog shower.

We stayed at Camp Cavallino during the last week of August 2019. The site was very well equipped for children probably not as much for teenagers. The pool is amazing one of the best pools I've ever experienced with a modern and extensive Hydra Pool - awesome. However, closing the pool from 1pm-3pm was very strange and left the kids with nothing to do for a couple of hours. The site shop has limited stock and is extremely expensive. The bar and restaurant areas are very nice but could do with more entertainment for adults in the evening. The location is great, directly on the beach and there are regular buses to the airport and to the port for a boat to venice. We had a two bed cabin which was pretty basic but manageable there were other newer cabins that looked fab. There are limited English people at the site that could be a problem for some but not for us. The staff were mainly friendly I have to mention Monica the supervisor at the bar she was absolutely amazing and went out of her way for everyone to make sure they had what they needed - a complete asset to the bar and the campsite. The reception staff are not as helpful. Great holiday and we are hoping to return next year

    Area tip

Hire Bikes and explore the surrounding areas, you can get them cheap at the site, take the bus ride to the port and get a boat to Venice - dont use the standard boat the campsire offer an offer by a tour company which is much cheaper
