- A must see when in the area: Venice (70km), the majestic sinking city. Take a romantic ride in a gondola on grand Canal, admire the priceless artworks in the many magnificent museums, then rest your weary feet at one of its excellent restaurants and recharge your batteries with a long, lazy lunch.
- Fancy a day at the beach? Then take your pick from 3 great beaches close by, Bagno Perla, Serenella & Bellarosa and Blu Marlin Beach. They all have beach clubs and excellent facilities.
- Architect enthusiasts go to Rovigo (55km) to admire the splendid architecture of the 16th century Palazzo Roverella and Palazzo Roncale. Also worth a visit: Picture Gallery of the Accademia dei Concordi with art by Bellini, Jan Gossaert, Tiepolo, Carriera. and Alessandro Longhi.
