This is the spot for the real Italy lover. Camping Mar y Sierra is a small terraced campsite in the authentic Le Marche region, just 15 minutes from the beaches of the Adriatic coast. The countryside is very similar to Tuscany, but looks even more beautiful. Stay in an adventurous Kalahari safari tent and La Vita will be even sweeter than it already is!

    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Mar y Sierra in San Costanzo

    • Want to spend the day working on your tan? The sandy beaches of Torrette di Fano are a 15 minute drive away. It’s a perfect spot to relax by the murmuring sea with a good book or a bucket and spade. Or drive to one of Italy's most picturesque beaches, Mezzavalle, in an hour. After a walk along a steep path. you'll be rewarded with a piece of paradise. A pristine white beach surrounded by lush green hills.
    • Alternatively drive a little further to the beach of all beaches, Rimini, on the Adriatic coast.
    • The Renaissance city of Urbino is a must see. Wander the streets of this stunning World Heritage city and see the influence Leonardo da Vinci had on the wonderful city walls. Visit the elegant Ducal Palace with the its circular towers & National Art Gallery and the magnificent city cathedral.
    • Fancy some tax free shopping? Then go to the microstate of San Marino, just a 1 hour drive from your campsite.
    • Fans of ancient architecture visit Fano to see the 600m long Roman city walls. Only Rome has longer walls! Admire the Fortezza Malatestiana and the theatre of the Fortuna. Then relax and sip limoncello on the Piazza XX Settembre.
    • For an unforgettable day out, visit the caves at Frasassi, a 1 hour drive away from your campsite in Le Marche.
    • Stroll through the dreamy, medieval town of Gradara, with its splendid castle with courtyard and setting for the ancient story of the forbidden love of Francesca and Paolo. The story doesn’t end well, but with its frescos, city walls and 14 towers the castle still looks magnificent today!
    • Join in the fun of the summer Jamboree in Senigallia. It's party time in 1940's & 50's style, with music, dancing and fabulous shiny American old timer cars.
    • Nature lovers are in for a treat at the Parco Regionale del Monte Conero, south of the coastal town of Ancona. Take holiday snaps by the green cliffs, laze about on the pearl white beaches, take a tour around a vineyard and then stop in Numana for a boat trip and a lunch of the local heavenly mussels, the Moscioli DOP.
