Camping La Masseria is a wonderful family campsite right by the crystal clear waters of the Salento sea. It's situated on an old vineyard and surrounded by the shade of fresh scented pine trees. Families with children will love its beautiful swimming pool area, with landscaped garden and superb poolside bar.     Some tips for your holiday at Camping La Masseria in Gallipoli

    • Rise early to meet the boats coming into Gallipoli with their catch of the day and buy the freshest fish for a lovely BBQ back at your accommodation.
    • Taking to the beach is an essential part of any holiday in Italy. Lido Morelli, in Ostuni, is considered to be one of the most stunning in the region and a popular choice with locals.
    • Visit the delightful port of Brindisi. Stroll down its palm lined streets to the historic column that marks the end of the Via Appia, which used to be the Roman Empire's main route to Greece and the near East and ran from Rome through Brindisi. Go to the 800 year old Swanbian Castle to get that perfect picture postcard view of the port.
    • Looking for culture, great shopping and fantastic food? Then head for Lecce. Walk down Via Libertini to admire the baroque extravagance of Basilica di San Giovanni Battista, then stroll to the Piazza del Duomo are for some great retail therapy. Finish the day with a taste of the Cucina Povera in one of Lecce's excellent trattorias.
