The campsite is a small/medium sized park. The swimming pool is probably the best part of the park. Its kept beautifully clean and is well staffed. although its not very deep it was 1.2m to 1.3m deep it was still very enjoyable. Our accomodation was a new type FIJI unit which was excellent throughout. They are a good upgrade on the older style units at other parks. The park staff were pleasent enough to speak to though our lack of Italian and their limited English conversations were kept to pretty basic encounters . Though not many english speaking staff when we were there they did have a couple of staff who could help us. The park was nice and quiet during our stay mid June ( probably 30% occupied) so suited us. Next door to the park is an Aqua park which opens mid june and is reasonably priced and equiped with slides and flumes as well as plenty for families with younger children. The park is a little outside of the Galipoli town the park does provide an hourly shuttle service into and out of the town (on the hour). In addtion the onsite market is small and basic however there is a large supermarket Familia just 100m up the road from the entrancce which has pretty much everything you could need. We had a hire car which gave us the freedom of driving to visit places of interest and would probably advise thet this is the best way to use the site. So all in all an enjoyable family holiday destination and would probably return again.

    Area tip

Use the shuttle bus to visit the old town. Visit the Aquapark next door and the excellent long sandy beaches in the bay south of the town. If you have a car use it to travel to places of interest like the 'trulli' houses etc.
