Some tips for your holiday at Camping Village Paestum in Eboli

    • The impressive ruins and temples of Paestum. Founded by the ancient Greeks, conquered by the Romans, and now discovered by you. Ancient Paestum belongs to Cilento National Park, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And just 6 kilometres from your campsite.
    • To leave you speechless: Pompeii, the lava-flooded and destroyed ancient city that even now (or even in its present form) still shows how rich Italian culture is.
    • The culprit was Vesuvius volcano, which destroyed Pompeii in the year 79. You can visit this active volcano southeast of Naples yourself. Cover the last part to the main crater on foot over solidified lava.
    • The wonderful coastal town of Positano is built like a staircase against the rocks. From the wide boulevard by the sea, countless stairs squeeze up between the houses. A steep climb, but what a view, both below and above.
    • Immerse yourself in the colourful chaos of the city of Naples. From busy neighbourhoods and squares with honking Vespas, to narrow streets with flapping laundry. The long street of Spaccanapoli splits the old town in two. Visit the Gesù Nuovo church, discover the catacombs under the city and go shopping on Via Toledo.
    • From Naples you can also take boat trips to the beautiful islands of Capri and Ischia.
    • On the enchanting Amalfi Coast, an hour's drive away, you'll feel like you're in a 1960’s Italian movie. The rocks, the bays, the winding coastal road, the ambiance, it is as if you see everything through a colour filter. The cities of Agropoli and Salerno are easily accessible.
