Camping Della Colombaia

It is whispered that the western side of Lake Garda is the purest. More pristine than the east. Sweeter than the north. More authentic than the south. And not yet conquered by the masses. It can’t be a coincidence that there is a real 'campeggio' right here. Camping Della Colombia is a small-scale campsite where you can enjoy the sweetest of 'la dolce vita'. Move into one of our new 2023 safari tents – they are close to the new swimming pool.

The surrounding of Camping Della Colombaia

On the southwest side of Lake Garda, near the village of Padenghe sul Garda, a relatively quiet region where you still have many attractions within reach. You can easily drive to the popular Sirmione and Peschiera del Garda, but you meander just as smoothly into mountain country. Via country roads and olive groves you end up in villages with just a handful of houses, and streets so narrow that you only enter them on a Vespa.

    • Be sure to visit Salò, a beautiful seaside town with a two-kilometre-long pedestrian promenade.
    • Take a trip along the west coast of the lake: the many tunnels and beautiful views will keep you happy. Stop in Portese and Limone sul Garda along the way. And order a panini or ice-cold limoncello on a terrace.
    • Drive to the Rock of Manerba, a colossal chunk of stone that rises out of the lake like a fortress. From various places you have fantastic 360-degree views.
    • What could be more Italian than cooking your own pasta? You can easily shop for a four-course dinner at the weekly markets of Salò and Desenzano. With fresh ingredients from the local land.
