Camping Rais Gerbi

This lovely family campsite is beautifully situated right on the northern coast of Sicily, with spectacular views overlooking the sea. It’s a water lover’s paradise, being right by a delightful pebble beach and has a cool, large swimming pool. With lots of activities and facilities for kids of all ages and plenty of shade, it’s a great destination for a fabulous family camping holiday by the sea.

Some tips for your holiday at Rais Gerbi in Finale di Pollina

  • Want to stay close to the campsite? Then wander down to the village of Finale ( 500m). Do a little shopping, stroll along the beach, then stop at the main square for a lovely, lazy lunch.
  • For a little culture and some fabulous food head for the charming port town of Cefalù (15km). Admire the 4th century Roman temple of the goddess Diana and Cefalu’s double towered Cathedral the Duomo with its Byzantine mosaics. Then head for the main piazza and spoil your taste buds with delicious local delicacies.
  • For those perfect holiday snaps visit the picture postcard medieval village of Castelbuono (20km) This enchanting place has a 14th century castle, a gorgeous Palatine Chapel and a beautiful, cosy historic old town centre.
  • Looking for that secret, pretty little beach? Then go to Sant’Ambrogio(10km) Its beach is a hidden oasis set in the magical nature of the Madonie Park . With the shimmering sea on one side and lush greenery on the other.
  • Art lovers head for Santo Stefano di Camastra ( 21km) famed for its amazing ceramics. Learn all about this art form in the museum of ceramics and then get that perfect souvenir to take home in one of the many wonderful little shops.
  • A little further afield, but well worth the visit is the captal city of Palermo (90 minutes). Its ancient architecture, culture, markets, excellent shopping and restaurants and magnificent beaches make this the perfect destination for a great day out for all the family.
  • Outdoor enthusiasts go to the incredible Natural park of Madonie ( 53km) Enjoy a guided tour, mountain bike with an instructor, go trekking, climbing or pack a picnic and enjoy the splendor of the stunning surroundings at your own leisurely pace.
