    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Gajole in Arsiè

    • It’s not surprising that you’re surrounded by high mountain peaks. The Dolomites are practically your new backyard. Choose an organised mountain tour or map out your own hiking route. Brave the Lago di Braies or the Peitlerkofel. Or go for the world-famous Drei Zinnen, where you’ll be treated to a view of the iconic jagged mountain peaks.
    • Get out by bike or car to Feltre, located 15 kilometres from the campsite. Visit the basilica, the Piazza Maggiore and see 15th century objects in the museum.
    • After 1 hour of driving, park the car in Trent. The way there is an adventure in itself, because this city is hidden between vineyards. You’ll cross an impressive mountain landscape and drive past clear blue lakes. Walk past Trento Cathedral, spot et Castello del Buonconsiglio and take the funicular for a phenomenal view of the city.
    • After 1.5 hours of driving, park the car in the parking lot before crossing the bridge to Venice. Good to know: Venice is a car-free city. Walk across the Rialto Bridge, across St. Mark's Square and past the Basilica. In the distance you can hear the gondoliers singing famous Italian serenades.
    • Padua is located 110 kilometres from the campsite. Along the way you’ll spot the basilica of Sant'Antonio for the first time in the distance. But that is not the only highlight worth visiting. Stroll through the labyrinth of narrow streets in the medieval heart of the city and relax on the terraces. Feast on polenta and risotto, and sink your teeth into various meat specialties.
