Camping 't Geuldal is a popular family campsite, where everything revolves around relaxation, of the slowdown and Exploration. And of course, pleasure. While the little ones bounce on the airbag or explore the garden of games and discovery, you can finally dive into this book you were waiting to read.
Get carried away by the South Limburg
In terms of location, there is no better: just on the edge of the forest, next to the Geul River, with the charming village of Meerssen and the tourist city of Valkenburg nearby. Want some adventure? Get on your bike and follow picturesque cycling or mountain biking routes across the country. Follow the bell towers on the horizon and you will always lead to a pleasant place with a terrace. It's time for coffee and... vlaai (tart) of Limburg.
Fun for children
Learning nature by playing? Go to the games and discovery garden - one hectare of green space with adventurous gaming equipment. If the sun decides to hide, the indoor playground is there for you.
Activities during holidays
In high season and during school holidays, the animation team entertains children with manual activities, football, dance and games – every week with a different theme. Want to refresh you? The open-air swimming pool in Meerssen offers plenty of space to pamper and relax on the lawn.
Burgundy delicacies at the brewery
Are you hungry? Enter the Brewery Bie de Groeve or find a place on the terrace with a warm atmosphere. Enjoy Burgundy dishes, crispy fries or freshly cooked pizzas – in the best camping restaurant in the Netherlands, each bite is a treat. Do you prefer takeaway dishes or just ice cream? It's possible, too.
Excursions in the caves
The landscape of South Limburg is not only beautiful – it is full of adventure. Under the rolling hills are ancient marne caves, with kilometers of underground passages. In summer, the campsite organizes exciting guided tours of the caves for adventurers of all ages.
Discover the surroundings of 't Geuldal
Camping 't Geuldal is the ideal starting point for exploring South Limburg. Here are some highlights:
- Maastricht – Old walls, Fort Sint Pieter, elegant shops, dinner in Vrijthof Square. A day is not enough.
- Valkenburg – Explore the Velour Cave, the ruins of the castle and the romantic streets lined with marne houses. Looks like a small French village.
- South Limburg Hills – Strolling hills, orchards, chapels and traditional farms give this landscape its unique charm.
- Bicycle Paradise – Raise the challenge of Cauberg, Bemelerberg or Keutenberg, famous thanks to the Amstel Gold Race.
- Mergelland Road – A panoramic road along points of view and villages like Slenaken, Noorbeek and Eijsden.
- Item Three Frontiers to Vaals – Go up to the Wilhelmina Tower at the height of the Netherlands and enjoy the view of three countries: the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
