    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Terme Ptuj in Ptuj

    • Visit Slovenia's oldest town: Putj. The small and cosy town centre is 1 kilometre away. Stroll past the Dominican monastery, take holiday photos of the castle and visit a special wine cellar. This is the oldest in all of Slovenia, where the country's oldest bottle is stored. The Golden Vine dates back to 1917.
    • After a 9-kilometre drive, you reach the Dornava manor house. Dating from the 15th century, it has a baroque feel. Walk through the stately gates with statues on both sides. The longer you look at the manor house, the more details you will discover.
    • The campsite is 135 kilometres from Ljubljana. It’s one of the smallest European capitals, so all sights are easily accessible. You have a fantastic view from the castle on the mountain. The cable car will take you there in a few minutes. Stroll through Prešeren Square and check out street art in the Metelkova district.
    • Being close to the Croatian border, Zagreb is just 1.5 hours away. Stroll through the botanical garden, crossing the wooden bridge over the pond. You’re surrounded by honey trees and swamp cypresses, twittering birds, and the scent of the French flower garden tickles your senses. St Mark's Church with its red- and blue-coloured roof tiles with geometric figures gleaming in the sun completes the day trip.
