Campsite information

Camping Caballo de Mar

If you're looking for a beach holiday, you won't find a better spot than this. You can hear and smell the Mediterranean from the campsite as the beach is just in front of the bungalow tents. There is a another section of the campsite on the other side of the coast road and this is where you will find the mobile homes and the majority of the campsite facitlies.

  • It's a perfect choice for young families as small children can play all day long in the sand and older kids will enjoy the beach life.
  • Enjoy a dive in the swimming pool or have a jump on the trampolines or fitness air cushions. There's also a fitness room.
  • The beach bar is a great spot to relax and enjoy a cooling drink.
  • Last, but not least, there's a good restaurant where you can enjoy a tasty Spanish meal.
  • Enjoy your holiday in luxury accommodation. The Bali mobile homes are designed in trendy colours for a real summer feeling.
  • From June 30-July 7 2020 there will be a Hard Rock festival close to the Caballo de Mar campsite, in a large tent on Can Xaubet and on the beach by Santi's Beach Bar. Great fun for Hard Rock enthusiasts, but perhaps not ideal for families with young children who want to stay at the campsite in this period.

The surrounding of Camping Caballo de Mar

Pineda de Mar has a relaxing boulevard with a Catalan atmosphere. Not as exuberant as Lloret de Mar further north but, just as you would expect on a Spanish seaside resort, there's friendly beach bars where you can eat in the pleasant summer evenings, while the sounds of the sea can be heard in the background. The road to Barcelona runs parallel to the beaches, with only the rail line in between. There are plenty of small tunnels to pass through to get to the beach. Then you have only the road to cross.
