Not that you have the realm to yourself, but it is remarkably quieter there.
Some tips for your holiday at Camping Alannia Els Prats in Miami Platja
- At Miami Platja you will find beautiful, wide sandy beaches but also small sheltered bays with meters high rocks. The ideal Costa mix. Platja Cristal is the large, two-kilometre long beach with a boulevard with terraces, shops and chiringuito's (food stalls on the beach).
- A visit to Barcelona is a must. The living statues on the Ramblas, the fairytale Park Güell with phenomenal views of the city, the world famous church Sagrada Familia, football stadium Camp Nou. In the Catalan capital you will be short of eyes and ears. Tip: hop aboard a hop-on hop-off bus to see it all. And get off in the historic districts of El Borne and Bari Gòtic where you can enjoy delicious tapas in well-hidden squares.
- Topper for the whole family: thema park Port Aventura. You can see the skyline with winding roller coasters from afar. Here you will experience a dazzling day in six different themed countries. The amusement park is 15 kilometers from the campsite.
- Prefer a quieter day out? Rent a bike and head for Cambrils, 8 kilometers away. This seaside town is acclaimed for its seafood restaurants. Nice to see how the fishing boats enter the harbor.
- Continue cycling? A few kilometers to the north is Salou, the seaside resort that rings a bell with beachgoers and partygoers. Yet Salou has much more to offer than sun, sea, beach and night clubs. Enjoy the medieval center and admire the archaeological park Villa Romana de Barenys. Very spectacular is the hiking trail Cami de Ronda that takes you along the rocky coast.
- Tarragona is a fascinating old town with many well-preserved buildings from the Middle Ages and the Roman era. A nice combination of cozy streets (where you can eat and drink well) and impressive buildings such as the amphitheater and the cathedral.
